Infatuation

olhasoisso:

My cat, Borges, just died from gastrointestinal hemorrhage.
He was very young and lively, and through the last week he developed the symptoms and got exponentially worse. It was very fast and furious, but I cannot forgive myself.
Thing is, I’ve been having some kidney trouble myself, no one would take him to the vet for me, and when I got better, I didn’t have the time.
I feel terrible and I am, very lucidly and logically, mind you, blaming myself for this. So, please, just read what I have to say:

Don’t put it off. Never put things off.

Don’t procrastinate, seize every moment, as intensely as you can. Solve your problems as soon as you get them. Don’t leave it to the last moment possible — sometimes it can be too late, if you pardon my cliché.

Love intensely — people, animals, plants, even things — and take care of the things you love as you’d be taking care of yourself, maybe even better, because they deserve better.

Surround yourself with positive-thinking, good-hearted, energy-building people. If someone sucks your energy down, get rid of them, as soon as you can. I promise you won’t regret it.
Make only rational enemies. Inteligent enemies are the only ones worth having. And yes — do get enemies, they are important.

And, lastly: never underestimate anything. People, circumstances, whatever. Lead your life as if everything was a matter of life and death, because sometimes it is — and you have no idea.
